How often does a fire extinguisher need to be serviced?
Portable extinguishers are normally inspected and serviced once a year, and the service record has to be available at inspection.
We carry out the inspection, refilling and repressurising, and keep the documentation in order for your Bomba licence.
What size fire extinguisher do I need?
1KG suits cars, small offices and home use. 3KG is the common choice for shops and small premises. 9KG is the standard for factories, warehouses and corridors.
CO2 units are specified separately for server rooms and electrical panels, because they leave no residue on equipment. If you are unsure, send us the premises type and we will advise.
What is the difference between dry powder, CO2 and foam?
Dry powder is general purpose and covers most common fire types, which is why it is the usual choice for corridors and plant rooms. CO2 is for live electrical equipment and leaves nothing behind. Foam suits flammable liquids in workshops, stores and fuel handling areas.
How do I apply for a new Bomba licence?
We prepare the documents and handle the application for your premises, including the equipment supply, servicing and testing needed to pass inspection. Send us the premises type and location to start.
How do I renew an existing Bomba licence?
Renewal is annual. We carry out the servicing and testing required, then submit the renewal on your behalf. It is worth starting before the current licence expires so there is no gap.
Do you deliver, and is there a minimum order?
We deliver across Johor. Single units and contract volumes are both fine. For a larger order, send the schedule and delivery address and we will quote delivered.
