A 1KG ABC dry powder extinguisher is the smallest unit most people will ever buy, and the one that gets carried in a vehicle. It is rated for the three fire classes a driver or a small business is most likely to meet: Class A for paper, wood and fabric, Class B for petrol, diesel and solvents, and Class C for gas.
It mounts in a car boot, under a counter or on a wall bracket without needing a stand. It is a first-response tool for a fire still small enough to approach.
What ABC dry powder covers
It does not cover Class F cooking oil fires. A commercial kitchen needs a wet chemical system for that.

Is a 1KG fire extinguisher enough for a car?
For a fire caught early — a wiring fault, a small engine bay fire, a bin fire — a 1KG unit is the size most drivers can actually reach and operate in the seconds available.
It is not sized for a fully developed vehicle fire. If the fire has spread beyond the engine bay or reached the fuel system, the correct action is to move away from the vehicle and call 999.
How often does it need servicing?
Portable extinguishers in Malaysia are normally inspected and serviced once a year, and the service record kept available for inspection.

Does it come with a SIRIM mark?
We supply extinguishers carrying the certification marks required for sale in Malaysia. The specific marks and standard references are printed on the cylinder label of the unit you receive.

Can I buy just one?
Yes. We supply single units to walk-in and delivery customers as well as bulk orders to contractors and facility managers.
