A fire protection system is not one product. It is a set of systems that have to be designed together, installed to match the approved drawings, tested as a whole and then certified before the building can be occupied. Getting any one of them wrong holds up the whole submission.

Survey
Site survey and review of the architectural and mechanical drawings against the building classification.
Design and submission
System design, drawings prepared and lodged with the authority, and the queries that come back managed through.
Installation
Carried out by our own teams, coordinated with the main contractor's programme and the other trades.
Testing and certification
Each system commissioned, then an integrated test of the whole, then inspection, certification and handover.
Maintenance
Scheduled servicing under contract, which is where most of our clients stay.

Common questions
Do you handle the Bomba submission as well as the installation?
Yes. We prepare and lodge the submission, answer the queries that come back, and carry the drawings through to inspection and certification.
Splitting design and submission from installation across two parties is where most delays originate, because neither will own a discrepancy between the drawing and what is on the wall.
Can you take over a project another contractor started?
Frequently, yes. We survey what is installed, compare it against the approved drawings, and set out in writing what has to be corrected before the system can be tested and certified.
We will not certify work we cannot verify, so expect that report to be specific about what needs opening up.
How long does a system take?
The installation is rarely the constraint. Submission and approval timelines, and coordination with the main contractor's programme, usually set the date.
We give a programme after the survey, with the submission milestones separated from the installation ones so you can see where the risk sits.
Do you maintain the system afterwards?
Yes, and it is the larger part of our work. Fixed systems need scheduled inspection and testing to stay certified and to actually function.
